Princess Moxie's Shop
Don't let your children's fun stop after
the performance!
Coloring Book for the Modern Princess"My 2 year-old daughter loves the PM coloring book! --
From the moment we got it, she called it "MY book", and immediately began to color in it "
"Princess Moxie's Coloring Book is full of terrific sketches and activities for children to color and enjoy. The drawings have a wonderful active quality that children will love."
"Jennifer Levine is a true talent and artist. Her new coloring book is great
for children, but it also is a great tool for artist inspiration --
whimsical and a delight for the eyes."
The Princess Moxie Rules CD"I must tell you the cleverness, musicality and arrangements of the Princess Moxie CD totally are totally impressive.
Great job!
I've often though of you because my daughter knows it word for word and loves it.
She actually re-enacted about 15 minutes of your material beat for beat to my Mom, and I sat their with my jaw open.
Unbelievable.
She does all the accents, everything.
You really struck a chord. "
"Jenn, I got your CD Friday.
I popped it in the car on the way down the shore and the kids were mezmerized!!!!
Not a peep out of them!!
They were so into the story and loved the songs!!
Needless to say we listened to it over and over and over!!
(In case you're wondering it plays about
3
times to Spring Lake, NJ from Roseland!)
And they love the songs - especially the opening song, the cowboy song (#7) and Lily even sings along to the one that says "mais, oui". They really surprised me. " "My kids love the hilarious characters and voices, and the flow and timing of the story hooks them every time. From my perspective as a children's songwriter, performer and recording artist, I deeply appreciate the way Jenn weaves a funny and inspiring story with strong characters, awesome and mood-inspiring music, and a positive yet believable ending that trumps the preciousness of a more traditional fairy tale approach. This epic tale feels reminiscent of story-songs from the classic, Free to Be, You and Me. -- a high honor, indeed"
